Emily McGregor
Hello!
Like most artists, I’ve been creating art my whole life. I minored in studio art in college at the encouragement of one of my professors. (I even pranked the department with an art installation where I hung twisted, melted black plastic forks all over the first floor with fishing line.) Until recently, I aggressively did not want to monetize my painting. As a writer and filmmaker striving to build a career, I wanted to keep one form of expression purely for my pleasure. Then, I woke up one morning and realized that just wasn’t true for me anymore.
So we are here. Giving this art thing a whirl. I’m not attached to any outcomes. I'm just curious to explore, share, learn, and eventually have my first gallery show! If you have a way to help with that goal, please click here!
Below is my professional bio for my filmmaking, if you’re interested in what I do there!
